![]() Now went into Windwall with the Dwarf companion and fps was better, but still bad. The previous map where you fight the Dwarves was also bad, though a lot better. Unless I was zoomed in really close, fps was in the 10-15 range if I had my view towards something that also showed an area a bit further away.Īfter reading several other threads it's apparent that this map is a repeat offender and it's supposedly the worst of the bunch, though that's far from the only map. The first tutorial was so-so, the first mission was fine, but the first Dark Elf mission was absolutely HORRENDOUS. My playing experience so far on the first few maps have been quite bad, and it's only my interest in the story that makes me continue playing at this point. Also 1440p, fxaa turned on, vsync off (240Hz monitor), dof off, sao off, most settings on medium/half-bar, rain ripple and grass sim off, af on 0x. Soul Harvest was a completely different beast, and not in a good way. Original I had mostly on medium-high 1440p settings and it was some 40+ fps even in heavy rts mode with lots of units. I thought the original had some bad performance (low fps) here and there - especially with the config edit for further camera distance - though nothing too bad unless I zoomed out really far. After having played through the original Spellforce 3 and really liking the story, I went straight into Soul Harvest.
